Summary

In My sophomore year of college i took a Brand identity course and our semesters project was to pick an educational intuition of our choice and create a new brand identity for them i chose the Museum of failure. Museum of Failure is a collection of failed products and services from around the world. Innovation needs failure. All progress is built on learning from past failures and mistakes. The museum provides unique insight into the tricky business of innovation. During my redesign of the museum’s brand, I attempted to replicate and glorify the brand as not just failure but a way to grow and learn from it and see it for more than what it was. The challenge for me while re-branding was to create marketing and branding that shows the museums visuals as well conveys items of a failure I emphasized on the use of the color red for failure as striking and bright.

Solutions

For this project some of the biggest challenges for me were at first creating a unique logo that fit the brand identify I was envisioning. It took a few iterations being isolated during the pandemic but once I created a few ideas the vision began to show through, and I had a clear path on the direction I wanted to take.
